Speaker: Peter Jedicke (National RASC President) 8:30 pm - Neutrinos and Astronomy - in 2001, the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory announced the solution of the solar neutrino problem. Peter Jedicke has been interested in these elusive particles and had the opportunity to visit SNO. This talk will provide a general introduction to neutrinos, the history of the solar neutrino problem and other aspects of neutrinos in astronomy. No neutrinos will be harmed in the making of this talk.
