Victoria
Centre is part of the national
Royal Astronomical Society
of Canada, which is dedicated to bringing information about
astronomy to the general public.
Dan uses a Celestron CPC800 SCT on an alt/az mount as his main observing
telescope, and also uses it for astrophotography with a Canon XSi dSLR. Dan also
observes using a Stellarvue 90mm apo refractor mounted on a simple alt/az mount
and tripod.
The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is dedicated
to the promotion of astronomy and its related sciences; we espouse the
scientific method, and support dissemination of discoveries and
theories based on that well-tested method.
