Star Party 2005 News Release (49k pdf)

Our Fifth Annual Star Party was a great success! Our Members Only Star Party on Friday Sept 2nd  included our Cowichan Valley Star Finder friends, members of the Nanaimo Group and even some members of other astronomy groups from as far away as Oregon. Gates opened at 12pm noon on Friday. We opened it up for the public on Saturday, and a few more showed up as well.  We had strong attendance this year, however there was lots of space on the field for more.

It's not too late to order your RASCALs Star Party t-shirts through our online store.  Four designs to choose from!

Door prizes generously provided by: Island Eyepiece and Telescope, Celestron, Sky Instruments, Pacific Telescopes, Victoria Centre RASC, Richly Maintained Services, and JoeTourist InfoSystems..
