April 21, 2012 - Earth Walk in Victoria started at 11:30AM at the BC Legislature, followed by a festival in Centennial Square. Victoria Centre promotes Earth Walk every year, since this event fits naturally with our message of preserving the natural environment: 7+ Reasons to think about Light Pollution.

We ran an information booth at the Earth Walk festival. Media Release

It was a very successful event as the weather turned out to be much better for Solar viewing than the original weather forecast. Our volunteers were just stupendous engaging with the public young and old. We had in-total 376 public participation, an excellent outcome.

Thanks to all the volunteers for their help.

Cheers,
Sid
